Daniel D. Ragan is a consulting partner with Seay Management Consultants. Dan has over thirty years’ experience as a Human Resource Consultant, working with a variety of businesses nationwide.
Dan is an expert in compliance with regulations to include Wage-Hour, EEOC, FMLA, COBRA, NLRB, etc. In addition, he has written and developed compensation plans, affirmative action plans, employee handbooks, and policy manuals. Dan has represented companies in excess of 400 times before the EEOC and has a 99% win ratio.
Dan conducts workshops on supervisory training and management development, motivating employees, communication, sexual harassment prevention and many other topics. He is certified in DISC assessments, Vital Learning, Zenger Miller, Strong Interest, and Who We are Counts.
Dan is a graduate of East Tennessee State University, and matriculated at the University of Tennessee, MBA. He is a former Captain in the U. S. Army. He has written several articles on human resource topics for national publications and has been a regular feature writer for The Business Journal of Tri-Cities. Additionally, he has frequently spoken to state and national associations on his areas of expertise.
